Rules apply as follows:
- Gear should be on at all times, no matter how loose, tight, itchy, or rough; in which case you should consult with tour guides.
- Your right hand goes on the zip line (unless you're left-handed, in which case, you know...) and the other one goes on the strips that harness you to the cable.
- Under no circumstances should your strong hand (right for right-handed) let go off the cable, or you will find yourself spinning uncontrollably.
- When you need to slow down, use your strong hand as brake by pulling down with all available strength. If this fails, pull with both hands for emergency brake.
- Whatever the guides or the boss do is because they're experts. Never, repeat, NEVER do any kind of trick on a zip line unless you're an expert yourself.

Actually there are 14 lines. Located in Copan Ruinas - Honduras, one of the best in Central America according to Lonely Planet: "t is a true 'canopy tour'... ie: ziplines. These are cables suspended above the forest canopy that you are attached to... and then zip along! I spent 5 weeks in Central America... and this visit is a must. Beats the hell out of any zip lines I have ever seen in Costa Rica or Guatemala." - more pics HERE
